Yes. Rebooking is generally possible. The exact conditions can be found in our rebooking policy. Guests who have purchased our Ticket Protection option benefit from extended rebooking flexibility.

DinnerHopping is a leisure event with a fixed date. Therefore, there is no statutory right of withdrawal in accordance with applicable regulations for leisure services. Please refer to our Terms & Conditions for details regarding cancellations and rebookings.

Your booking confirmation is sent automatically by email immediately after successful payment. If you cannot find it, please also check your spam folder.

Just bring yourself and a good mood. Guests who booked directly with DinnerHopping do not need to print a ticket or bring their booking confirmation. All participants are checked in via our guest list. If you booked through a partner such as GetYourGuide, mydays, Jochen Schweizer or another third-party provider, please bring your ticket or booking confirmation. A digital version on your smartphone is perfectly fine.

A VIP Table guarantees an exclusive table reserved only for your booking. It is ideal for couples, families, friends, birthdays, anniversaries or anyone who would like to enjoy the tour with additional privacy. The VIP Table can be selected as an optional upgrade during the booking process.

Yes. DinnerHopping tickets make an excellent gift. Alternatively, we also offer gift vouchers, allowing the recipient to choose their preferred tour date later.

Yes, provided seats are still available. While many tours sell out in advance, we are happy to accommodate last-minute bookings whenever possible.

Yes. DinnerHopping runs in almost all weather conditions. Thanks to our covered buses and restaurant stops, you can enjoy the experience comfortably regardless of rain or colder temperatures.

After completing your purchase, you will receive your voucher as a PDF by email. You can print it immediately or forward it digitally to the recipient. We also offer a printed voucher by post and our popular School Bus Gift Box.

Yes. The recipient can select their preferred DinnerHopping date from the available tours and redeem the voucher online.

Yes. All of our voucher packages already include a drinks package, so in most cases there are no additional costs when redeeming the voucher. Only upgrades to a higher drinks package may require an additional payment.

The validity period is stated directly on the voucher. During this period, the voucher can be redeemed for any available DinnerHopping tour.

Yes. In general, vouchers can also be redeemed for other DinnerHopping tours. Please note that each voucher has a specific value. If the selected tour is more expensive than the voucher value, only the difference needs to be paid.

Yes. During the booking process, you may choose a higher-value drinks package. The value included in your voucher will be credited, and you only pay the difference between the included package and the upgraded package.

Yes. Multiple vouchers can generally be combined for a single booking. The voucher values will be added together and applied to the booking total. If you have any questions about combining vouchers, our team will be happy to help.

Yes. Vegetarian alternatives are available on all DinnerHopping tours. As meal orders are taken directly during the tour, you do not need to choose a specific dish in advance. You can simply select from the available options on board.

In many cases, vegan dishes can also be arranged. Please contact us before booking so that we can check the available options for your selected tour.

In many cases, yes. Please inform us of any allergies, intolerances or dietary requirements when making your booking. Together with our restaurant partners, we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

The current menu can be found on our website for each tour. Please note that changes may occasionally occur. In rare cases, restaurants or individual dishes may need to be replaced due to operational reasons. Any replacements will always be of comparable quality.

We offer a range of drinks packages, including soft drinks, beer, wine and premium options. The available packages are displayed during the booking process.

Drinks are not automatically included in the ticket price. During booking, you select the drinks package that best suits your preferences. For voucher packages, drinks are already included.

The drinks package is selected during booking and cannot be changed afterwards. However, additional drinks can be ordered and paid for during the tour.

Yes. Additional drinks can be ordered at any time during the tour. All beverages included in your selected drinks package are unlimited throughout the evening. Additional drinks outside your package can also be purchased on board.

Of course. We offer non-alcoholic drinks packages on all tours. With these packages, you may enjoy unlimited soft drinks and non-alcoholic beverages throughout the tour at no extra charge.

There is no coffee machine on the bus. However, we are happy to serve an espresso together with dessert.

Most DinnerHopping tours last approximately 3 hours. Our Bavarian Lunch Tour is slightly shorter and usually takes around 2 hours. The exact duration is shown in the tour description and booking confirmation.

Our public tours start at the Marienplatz bus stop, Tal 1, in the heart of Munich. You will receive all relevant details, including the exact departure time, in your booking confirmation. For private and corporate events, alternative start locations can be arranged.

Public tours usually end near the starting point at Marienplatz. For private group bookings and corporate events, the destination can be arranged individually.

Yes. All courses are served directly at your table on board the bus. The dishes are freshly prepared by our restaurant partners and brought directly to the bus by their service teams.

Yes. During the restaurant stops, guests are welcome to step outside, stretch their legs or use the restaurant facilities.

No. Our buses do not have onboard toilets. However, restroom facilities are available at every restaurant stop.

Yes. Seating is arranged by our team before the tour. We do our best to seat groups together and accommodate special seating requests whenever possible.

Our buses feature tables for two to four guests. Guests who book a VIP Table are guaranteed an exclusive table reserved for their group. Other seating arrangements depend on group size and overall occupancy.

Smoking is not permitted on the bus. Guests may smoke during the restaurant stops when leaving the vehicle.

During Magic tours, professional magicians perform incredible close-up magic directly at your table. Unlike a traditional stage show, you are part of the experience and enjoy the entertainment from just a few feet away.

Our Live Music tours feature live performances by professional singers who accompany the evening with popular songs from different decades and genres. The performances take place directly on board the bus, creating a personal and interactive atmosphere.

No. Live Music and Magic performances are only included on specially marked tours. Our classic DinnerHopping tours focus primarily on the culinary experience and the unique atmosphere of travelling through Munich in an American school bus.

Yes. DinnerHopping is an excellent choice for corporate events, client entertainment, team events, Christmas parties and trade fair events. Many companies appreciate that everything is organised in one booking. There is no need to arrange restaurants, event locations or shuttle services separately. For private bookings, start and end locations can be customised. The tour can begin directly at Messe München, your hotel or company location and end wherever you prefer. Over the years, we have successfully organised more than 1,000 corporate events and many companies return to us regularly for trade fairs, customer events and Christmas parties.

Absolutely. The Christmas season is our busiest time of the year. Every year, we organise more than 50 Christmas parties and transform our buses into festive venues decorated for the holiday season. Guests can enjoy Munich's Christmas lights while travelling through the city and enjoying a multi-course dinner. As many dates sell out several months in advance, we recommend making an enquiry as early as possible.

Yes. DinnerHopping can be booked exclusively for corporate events, Christmas parties, birthdays, weddings and private celebrations. Exclusive bookings offer additional flexibility regarding routes, timing, entertainment and pick-up locations.

Our public tours are suitable for individuals, couples and groups of all sizes. For private events, we offer different vehicles depending on the group size: Small DinnerHopping Bus for up to approximately 12 guests Large DinnerHopping Bus for up to approximately 28 guests For larger events, multiple buses can be used, allowing us to accommodate groups of 40 guests or more.

Yes. For private bookings, start and end locations can be customised and the schedule can be adjusted to suit your event. The route itself depends on the selected tour and restaurant partners. For example, different restaurants are visited on our Italian, Bavarian, American and Asian tours. Tour extensions and additional programme elements can often be arranged upon request.

We believe in fair and transparent pricing. Short-term changes to guest numbers are handled flexibly and discussed individually. Additional drinks and optional tour extensions are billed transparently based on actual consumption and services provided. Our goal is always to find a fair solution for both parties.

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for Christmas parties and popular dates. However, it is always worth contacting us, even at short notice. If a bus is available and our restaurant partners can accommodate the request, we are often able to organise events with very little notice. In the past, we have successfully arranged corporate events with only one day's notice.
